An overlock sewing machine, like the GLAESER®home ol50, can sew the edge of one or more fabrics. It is a special machine that sews, cuts and neatens seams in one operation. However, an overlock cannot sew in buttonholes or zips, for example, so it is not a replacement, but an addition to “normal” sewing machines such as the GLAESER®home mia300 or mia500.
